Thomm Quackenbush Thomm Quackenbush is a novelist and teacher in the Hudson Valley. This is his third novel with Double Dragon Publishing. He has been previously published by Cave Drawing Ink, the Journal of Cartoon Overanalysis, and Paragon Press. He is capable of crossing one eye, raising one eyebrow, and once accidentally groped a ghost. He finds that friends do not enjoy the extremes he goes to in order to research books, as these involve mortuaries and UFO support groups. He posts his work at http://xenex.orgAvailable Titles: | In a world predicated on belief, what happens to the girl trying to be beneath everyone’s radar? Shane Valentine never realized how much she needed other people until accidentally getting brutally murdered and resurrected by a daemon. Now she has to keep out of sight of other daemons until Gideon can restore her or time runs out. | | When one dresses largely in black and belongs to a Wiccan coven on campus, having an older boyfriend who thinks he is a vampire almost makes sense. However, when Roselyn’s lover Dryden becomes an actual vampire—albeit a reticent one—and her preternatural roommate Shane is mistakenly taken hostage in her place, it is up to Roselyn to take on the cockroaches of the daemonic world without ending up on the wrong side of a pair of fangs. | | All Jasmine wanted was a calm summer in Pine Bush. When she sees a UFO her first night home from college, she is willing to brush it off as swamp gas reflected off Venus, until two men arrive at her door to harass her into silence about a picture she did not take. Soon she realizes Men in Black may be the least of her worries and that ignoring the Grays and their plans for her will only embolden them. If she doesn’t figure out why she is so interesting to aliens, Men in Black, and a mysterious man who seems to brush off harm, she may not have an autumn to look forward to. |
