Michele has been writing for about six years now and in that time she’s tried her hand at several different genres. So far her favorites are Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Mystery. One thing she says she’s learned is, contrary to popular belief, Romance is the hardest genre she’s ever tried to write. She can?t do it and totally admires anyone who can.

Over the years, she’s had some successes and lots of failures, just like every writer, beginning and experienced. Currently she has stories appearing in the recently released anthologies, F/SF, and Chimeraworld #2. She’s had stories accepted for a couple other anthologies, including one on dragons that she’s editing with writing friend, Kirk Dougal. She’s also published a spattering of articles and short stories in various e-zines and newsletters.

She’s also a contributing author for a non-fiction book titled, THE COMPLETE GUIDE TO WRITING FANTASY, a trade paperback released by Dragon Moon Press and for the upcoming, THE COMPLETE GUIDE TO WRITING SCIENCE FICTION, also a Dragon Moon publication.

She says that with the help of my wonderful Mentor and friend, NY Times best selling author James Rollins (aka James Clemmens), her Science Fiction/Mystery novel, PORTAL TO MURDER is now finished and looking for an agent, and her current novel, a mystery titled BINDING TIES, is moving along quite nicely.
