![]() Marcus Alexander Hart Marcus Alexander Hart was born in 1976, making him exactly the same age as Foreigner. He grew up in Fulton, New York, highlighting an already humiliating adolescence with a single writing credit in CRACKED magazine and two animated shorts aired on ABC Television’s America’s Funniest People.
In 1994, Marcus moved to Sarasota, Florida. He earned a degree in Computer Animation at Ringling School of Art and Design, simultaneously destroying any interest he ever had in the subject. During his college years, he produced the award-winning animated short A Narrow Martian of Error, and the science-fiction stage farce Walkin? on Sunshine. After graduation, Marcus moved to Los Angeles, California. There he co-founded the comedy website misinformer.com, serving as editor in chief and "the web’s worst movie critic." With his marked indifference for both video games and children, it was a natural fit when Marcus took a job as a digital animator at Knowledge Adventure: a children’s video-game company. After six years of working on various Barbie fashion show titles, Marcus decided it would be prudent to either segue back into writing or kill himself. In 2005, Marcus published his first novel, Caster’s Blog: A Geek Love Story. His second book, The Oblivion Society was released in April 2006, and will be followed by Walkin? on Sunshine: Tenth Orbit in October. After that, Marcus intends to change careers again, this time following his lifelong dream to play piano in a Foreigner tribute band. Available Titles: |
